Bugando is a secondary school located in Geita region, district and Geita District Council. The school is located in Bugando Division (where the late Dr Magufuli was born). The school is located in Nzera ward and Nzera village (now Bugando village). The school was established in 1998 with forms 1 to 4. In 2012, the school started a plan to have Advanced level (forms 5 and 6) but it was not successful, but in 2021 was successfully established forms 5 and 6 and several students have been assigned to a combination of science example PCM, CBE and EGM.
