Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship. Sahara Consult in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation is implementing the “Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship”. This fellowship is meant to improve the education sector in Tanzania by providing specialized acceleration and support to education technology (EdTech) companies seeking to increase their uptake. This initiative aligns seamlessly with the ongoing Tanzania efforts to strengthen the education sector and foster innovation in learning methodologies.
The main goal is to enhance access to education nationwide through technology, with a bold target of impacting over 200,000 learners annually, especially in the most vulnerable communities in Tanzania. Through this program, we anticipate a trans-formative shift that will empower Tanzania’s youth and drive sustainable progress in the education
