The Youth of the United Nations Association (YUNA) Tanzania has been organizing a flagship programme of Model United Nations (MUN) for 26 years. This authentic
simulation of the UN General Assembly (GA) brings together about 200 young
people aged between 15 – 30 years from the local and international community,
provide them an opportunity to practice their diplomatic and leadership skills
through debates and discussions governed by United Nations rules and procedures
by taking roles in diplomats.
The Youth of the United Nations Association (YUNA) Tanzania is pleased to announce that, the application window for the 27th Tanzania International Model United Nations (TIMUN) 2025 is now open! TIMUN – 2025 is slated to be convened from 28th July – 01st August 2025 in Dodoma, Tanzania under the theme, “EMPOWERING YOUTH FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE : DIGITAL INNOVATION”
The set of Thematic Areas to be discussed in-depth are the following:
1.Youth Engagement in Climate Action and Affordable Clean Energy for Food Security
2.Youth Participation in Leadership, Civic Engagement and Peace Building for Strong
Institutions
3.Youth Role in Promoting Gender Equality and Mental Health for enhanced Well-being
4.Youth Advancement in Financial Literacy and Investment
5.Youth Involvement in Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Development

CONFERENCE FEE:
For local participants CONFERENCE FEE is Tanzania Shillings 300,000/=
For International participants CONFERENCE FEE is USD 200.
Conference Fee Covers:
Conference Package,

Transport from Dar Es Salaam – Dodoma (Round Trip),
Daily Transport to and from the Conference Centre and Social Events,
