The Funguo Innovation Programme, in partnership with the Government of Finland and UNDP, is offering catalytic funding to early stage, impact driven MSMEs in Tanzania’s forestry and natural resource sectors.
What’s on offer:
Equity-free grants ranging from TZS 10 million to 100 million
Tailored technical assistance
Access to markets, investment readiness support, and peer networks
Who should apply:
MSMEs registered in Tanzania
Operating beyond pilot stage with early revenue
Working on innovative and sustainable solutions in forestry (e.g. bamboo, beekeeping, eco-products, digital forestry technologies)
Youth and women led enterprises are especially encouraged
This initiative builds on Funguo’s proven commitment to investing in inclusive innovation and job creation over TZS 5.2 billion invested in 61 ventures to date.
