IMPACT GRANT FUND (IGF) 2026:FUNDING & BUSINESS GROWTH SUPPORT FOR MSMES IN ΤΑΝΖΑΝΙΑ
The Impact Grant Fund (IGF) is an initiative established by Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania (FSDT), with funding from the European Union (EU) under the Financial Services for Growth (F4G) Programme. KPMG Advisory Limited manages the grant administration process.
Application Opens: 1 September 2026
Geography: Tanzania Mainland & Zanzibar
Eligible Applicants: Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with particular emphasis on high-growth-potential businesses owned & led by women and youth.
TARGET REGIONS
#Morogoro, #Manyara, #Shinyanga, #Rukwa, #Kagera, #Simiyu, #Kigoma, #Lindi, #Mtwara & #Singida, as well as Urban West, North Zanzibar, South #Zanzibar, North Pemba & South #Pemba.
WHAT IGF OFFERS
Selected MSMEs can receive grant capital of up to TZS 30 million, complemented by business development support designed to strengthen their capacity for sustainable growth.
The fund aims to help businesses expand operations, improve financial & management systems, strengthen innovation, create employment opportunities & become better prepared to access commercial finance.
IGF particularly responds to barriers that commonly limit MSME growth, including lack of collateral, limited access to appropriate credit, weak financial records & systems, high perceived lending risks and inadequate access to financial services tailored to business needs.
Women & youth-led enterprises operating in the eligible regions are particularly encouraged to prepare their businesses and documentation ahead of the application opening on 1 September 2026.
