
The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) today, July 7, 2025, officially announced the results of the Form Six Examination (ACSEE) and the Teaching Examinations held in May 2025, showing great success for students across the country.
According to a statement issued by the Executive Secretary of NECTA, the pass rate for Form Six candidates has reached 99.95 percent, indicating an increase in the efficiency of upper secondary education in Tanzania. The figures show that among all registered candidates, a large number have qualified to join higher education, with the number of successful girls increasing compared to previous years.
In terms of the Teaching Examinations, NECTA has reported that most candidates have demonstrated a good understanding of the subjects and the foundations of the teaching profession, a step that contributes to enhancing the quality of prospective teachers in the country.
In addition, NECTA has commended the efforts of teachers, parents and the government in working closely to ensure a better learning environment for students. All results are now officially available through the Council’s website: www.necta.go.tz, where students and education stakeholders can download or view them directly.
