• Collaborate with partners, tech innovators, civil society, and government institutions to build inclusive digital ecosystems.
• Ensure digital rights and information integrity across all digital initiatives.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of content managers and creators, data scientists, and public engagement specialists (digital advocacy team).
• Contribute to fundraising and partnership development efforts for the Digital Democracy Hub.
• Track and report on program impact, innovation milestones, and citizen reach and engagement.
• Represent JamiiAfrica in digital policy discussions, innovation forums, and civic tech networks locally and globally.

• At least 5 years of experience in digital innovation, civic tech, media, governance, or related development work—preferably with a focus on civic engagement or democracy.
• Proven track record in managing digital platforms or initiatives that promote social impact.
• Strong understanding of digital democracy, open government, civic tech, and digital rights landscapes in Tanzania and the region.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Experience leading teams and working in cross-functional, agile environments.
• Passion for citizen empowerment, civic space, and democratic governance.
• Proficiency in digital tools, data visualization, social media strategies, and online safety protocols is an added advantage.
What We Offer
• A unique opportunity to shape and lead a cutting-edge hub for digital democracy in the region.
