Chief Accountant (1 Post)

Nature and Scope

The successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors of SIMCU ltd and administratively to the General Manager. He/She will be the head of the Accounting and finance Department of Simiyu Cooperative Union (2018) Itd

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To manage the accounting denartment and monitoring Financial eport on a daily basis
2. To ensure the accurate preparation and proper Maintenance of accounting records coordinate the budgeting process including the preparation of regular eorganzaon 4 acl Doard of the IIm
3. To ensure that all statut are releases on time
4. To ensure that all payments made by Union Comply with TAX dedications, such as VAT, Corporate tax, Payee, with holding taxes etc. To prepan ly quarterly and , LC Rinr 9 To are stat ory and Co mpliar with acc account standard 10.To prepare and submitting management and Internal Control reports to the Board of the union
5. To respond to Audit queries in collaboration with the management team . To carry out any other related duties as may be assigned by General Manager from time to time.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

1. Must hold a Bachelor de fn nomics,B.com, Business Administrati
2. Must be certified Public Accountant CPA (T) or ACCA . CFA registered by NBBA
3. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting and financial agement from reputable organization 4.N in using ICT bases accounting system
