Call for Propisals: develoPPP Ventures Funding Programme for Startups
The develoPPP Ventures programme by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) supports innovative startups aiming to scale sustainable impact in developing and emerging economies.
Startups can receive non-dilutive funding of €100,000, matched by equivalent investment from other sources. In addition to capital, tailored technical assistance is also provided.
Eligibility:
Startups must:
Be privately owned and profit-oriented
Be registered or plan to register in the target country
Show proof of concept and initial revenues
Present a viable business and financial plan
Provide at least one annual financial statement
Have received less than €2 million in prior funding
Show high growth potential and ability to reach break-even within 3 years
Secure matching funds equal to develoPPP investment
Target Countries:
Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, and Tanzania.
